Adding multiple clients or businesses
If you are an accounting practice or adviser working on behalf of a number of clients, or the owner of multiple businesses, it’s easy to add them all to the Jazoodle application.
There are two ways to add clients. You can either click the “Get Company Data” link at the bottom of the screen.
Or you can click the “My Companies” tab that you’ll find on the main navigation bar.
Click on the icon for your chosen accounting software, for example Xero. You will then be asked to give Jazoodle access the data you’d like to upload. Select the relevant organisation name from the menu and click the “Allow access” button.
Once you have given access, you may be asked to provide additional information which couldn’t be supplied by your accounting software provider. Simply complete the required sections and click “Import Data”. If for any reason you’d like to upload alternative data from a different company then click “Change Company”.
Once you’ve actioned this, your dashboard will be populated using the data transferred from your accounting software – within just a few seconds. What’s more, because Jazoodle communicates directly with your accounting package any profile information will be automatically transferred and populated too. To move between the data for different companies you simply select the company you’d like to analyse from the drop down menu on the left hand side.
Remember you can add up to 5 years’ data without any additional cost, so the more years of data you have, the more insight that you can gain!
Depending upon the subscription plan you choose, you can also add updated data every month by going through the same simple process – just re-add the same year of data to update it. This helps ensure you can have regular insights into the performance of the business.
